A solid base allows the handles to sit upright while loading or when placed down after a carry. This allows for ease of use no more fumbling with plate that fall off to the side. Our angled plate post allow for quick and simple loading but also angle the plate to reduce the chances of plates clipping your heels when starting / stopping.
